Fort Huachuca PCS Vehicle Cleaning Checklist
A practical, printable checklist for military families leaving Fort Huachuca, covering cleaning, turn-in planning and official resources.

Leaving Fort Huachuca for an overseas assignment? Start with your shipping instructions, then work through the paperwork, vehicle condition and cleaning checks below. A shiny exterior alone is not the whole preparation process.
Start with your actual shipment
Confirm your vehicle-shipping eligibility and destination requirements with your transportation office. Use PCSmyPOV to find the appropriate Vehicle Processing Center (VPC) and arrange turn-in. Confirm the actual VPC address rather than assuming turn-in happens on post, and plan the drive before you book cleaning.
This checklist focuses on overseas POV preparation. For a move within the contiguous United States, ask your transportation office which arrangements apply. Military OneSource explains the distinction in its personal property shipment guide.

Choosing PCS cleaning in Sierra Vista
Tell MAXX your turn-in date, vehicle condition and the cleaning requirements you received. PCS Interior and PCS Full Detail cover different scopes. Interior preparation alone does not address exterior inspection areas; engine-compartment, wheel-well or undercarriage work should be specifically agreed in the quote.
MAXX serves Sierra Vista and has Fort Huachuca base access. Share your exact on-post service address and parking details so we can confirm appointment arrangements. Ask about our 10% military discount on one-time services before booking. Memberships are excluded. If you are not shipping your vehicle, our regular Full Detail may fit your goal better.
When should you schedule your detail?
Work backward from your confirmed VPC appointment. Allow time for the agreed cleaning, drying and a final check. Tell us about heavy soil or pet hair when you request a quote so the service can be planned properly. There is no single drying time that fits every material, weather condition and cleaning process.
Your VPC does. MAXX can help with the agreed cleaning work; detailing does not replace shipment paperwork, mechanical requirements or the processing center’s inspection.
